POEM: To Impostor Syndrome

Sometimes I write poetry.

I probably put myself in the mood because I drafted a post last night (due out tomorrow) on how poetry helps my prose.

I was also thinking about Impostor Syndrome; about how writers have a habit of comparing themselves to people many rungs above them on the ladder in terms of publication, skill, and experience and finding themselves lacking. It’s not just writers, anyone can suffer from it.

Impostor Syndrome is counter productive, yet most of us clash with it at one time or another. As I was thinking about it, this came out.
